Abstract
|
|
|
This paper present the incidence and focus-areas of typhoid fever and its suspected cases in Gyeongsan Gun, Gyeongbuk, Korea from 1971 to 1973. Incidence was 67.91 per 100, 000 population in average, and gradually decreased from 123.36 in 1971;- 54.80 in 1972, 32.71 in 1973.
There was 54 focus villages among total 281 natural villages: 19 focuses in 1971, 28 in 1972 and 31 in 1973. Three focuses among them were continueally occurred during 3 years investigated, two continued from 1971 to 1972 and seven from 1972 to 1973.
It means gradually dispersed year by year. High incidence areas overed 10/1000 population were four in 1971, but 8 in 1972 and 1973 respectively.
